Raghavendra A is a civil engineer, educator, and entrepreneur whose career reflects a rare combination of academic depth and real-world execution. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore, and a Master's in Structural Engineering from Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur, he brings rigorous technical foundations to everything he builds.
His professional story began in academia. He served as an Assistant Professor at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida, and later at Maharaja Institute of Technology, Thandavapura — mentoring students in structural analysis, reinforced concrete design, and construction technology, while contributing to research and publications until 2023.
Alongside teaching, he gained hands-on experience as a site engineer, working on real-world construction projects across Karnataka. Over time, he recognised that his true calling was to create spaces that are not only structurally sound, but aesthetically enriching and client-centric — a vision that led to the founding of Shathayu Constructions & Interiors in 2016.
With over 140 completed projects and a growing team of 15+ professionals — including civil engineers, architects, interior designers, and digital specialists — Raghavendra has steadily expanded the Shathayu vision into a multi-sector group committed to transforming lives through construction, technology, and education.
